What changed
Google has added a Search Console report showing how often your website appears in its AI features. Its Generative AI performance report help page says it has been available worldwide since 31 August 2026. The Search generative AI control, which decides whether your content can appear in those features, arrived worldwide on the same date.
If you're unsure whether Search Console is set up, ask whoever looks after your website. This guide helps you or them read the report and understand the setting.
